Shakespeare4All is one of Hong Kong’s leading performing arts education organizations which aims to inspire young people through Shakespearean drama in English.
POP-UP Shakespeare is s4a’s very first Shakespeare Drama Festival held in Mar 2013 at ArtisTree. The two-day festival included wide range of theatre workshops, performances and an exhibition. It attracted over 2,000 visitors in just two days.
Targeting youngsters and teens, a lion character is designed as the mascot for the event. It carries Shakespearean characteristics and various versions are developed for the workshops. The lively atmosphere created by lion all over the spaces is warmly welcomed by visitors.
